Yeah, don't think recasting will happen at this point. I'm sort of torn -- one one hand I think it's sort of natural for people supporting their own country/nation in a conflict. On the other hand - if you say things on Twitter as a celebrity...people will notice, negatively. Mostly I just don't like the casting because she looks nothing like Wonder Woman to me. Hell, Bones made a more accurate Wonder Woman.

I was going to make a secret from this image on a similar subject, but put it more nicely. I understand that she's patriotic, but it bugged me when I saw a, "Wonder Woman supports Israel," headline.

No, Wonder Woman supports peace and humaneness where possible, thanks. Also she is a polytheist who probably has no particular affinity for either the politicized Salafists or the racialist Jews who keep undermining a peaceful solution.

If you weren't already aware, you might be glad to know that one of the band members of 1 Direction has publicly expressed his support for Palestine. It's not one of my fandoms, but my mom went and checked out his music as a result. And imo, saying that took balls, so ... I'll admit that my (heretofore nonexistent) respect for them went up a little.
