Plenty of Jews in the movie industry casting though. She'll never want for work. Its sickening how the Jewish lobby in the US has enabled the genocide in Palestine.

IIRC Gaiman is not quite a Scientologist himself but his papa was a big-time Scientologist and Gaiman still has tenuous murky links to the organization through his father.

Similarly, I don't believe he (Gaiman) is observant, but I think he is of Jewish heritage.

This is based on a WhyWeProtest forum thread, so, take with two huge blocks of salt, etc. IIRC, they were basing him still being in, on the fact his ex gave money in his name (unless it was his money <--the murky part) to the Scilons, and another article where he seemed to be walking a very fine line not to say anything either pro or con because he had family still in (which he straight up stated but did not say who).

That is my current understanding of the facts as they stand. Think of it what you will. I'm mostly on the fence, but haven't bought anything since Anansi Boys, just in case....

I mean, maybe you're actually more anti-Jewish than I am. (Am I anti-Jewish? I think I'm mostly just annoyed by people who think being an asshole "for the Jews" is A-OK.)

It's not a secret that a certain type of pro-Israel (and kind of economically rightish) stance is mostly dominant in various media in the USA, but it's really politically incorrect to point it out in the language you did.

I stepped in that a while back and now I actively avoid one place I used to go online because apparently I'm now considered a big giant racist.

Then I heard that the Israeli government, or Likud, or somebody, basically hires youth to wander the internet defending Israeli policies, "BECAUSE OUR EXISTENCE IS ON THE LINE AND HAMAS IS SO EVIL!!1!!!1"--and I kind of believe it because I think I met one.

I miss liking Israal. Ever see Bikur Ha-Tizmoret / The Band's Visit? That's an OK movie. Of course, by 2007, I was already pretty skeptical of Israeli politics.
