I don't care for how long someone's been in fandom, but spelling characters' names wrong is a huge no-go in fic, since it's so ridiculously easy to look up. It'd take 3 seconds on Google to find out it's spelled "Gandalf". (I only have a passing familiarity with this fandom, and *I* know it's "Gandalf").

Like ... you obviously care about these characters and want to write about them, but you don't care about spelling their names right?

I can never get Daenerys Targaryen's name right on the first try, but I take the time to freaking look it up.

Also "Damien Wayne".
