Isn't that from a Dutch edition of The Hobbit? It's awesome and you're awesome for choosing it.

I don't get how people can so badly misspell character names, either. I know a lot of people are hopeless at spelling, but... that's why we have spellcheck and the ability to LOOK THINGS UP. It's weird when people act like if someone bad at spelling there's nothing they can do about it and we shouldn't be so hard on them by expecting them to spell properly. That sounds kind of condescending, to be honest.

Thank you, yes, the pic's from the 1960 Dutch edition of The Hobbit. :D I'm a big fan of Tolkien covers and adore book cover art/design in general. If money wasn't an issue, I'd collect Tolkien works translated into all sorts of languages. *envies those Sherlock Holmes collectors who do just that with Sherlockian books*
