The animation, for me, is almost making me quit this show. It's just so bad. Even worse is the non-animation. How many times are they going to cut to someone's eyes "shimmering" (flickering between big and small) while that character has a long dialog. No mouth movement let alone no actually full body animation. Just eyes "shimmering."

You would think with Sailor Moon being one of the most famous anime/manga properties in the world, the production company would be going all out. Making fluid animation with consistent designs. But this is just cheap, cheap, cheap.

Sailor Moon is pretty famous, but I think the franchise isn't as big as it used to be in Japan.

They kind of have to do it on the cheap, though, because they made the weird decision to put it online, so they pretty much have no budget to be working with. If they'd put it on TV properly, it could've had sponsors and a real budget and probably would've looked nicer and we'd've had an episode every week.

But then it probably wouldn't've even started until the winter season this year if we were lucky.
