I can't tell if this is another case of me being really bad at telling the Teen Wolf characters apart (seriously I'm pathetic) or if this is a new character that I haven't noticed because I missed the last few episodes. I have no idea who this guy is.

I thought it was Stiles and scrolled down to the comments to see if "Allydia" meant that his first name had been revealed. Oh well.

Stiles isn't his first name?

Stiles is his first name, but it's short for something, presumably a tradional family name, that his coach (I think it was the coach, it might have been the chemistry teacher) called a form of child abuse. The sheriff's first name is also unknown (at least through 3A.)

Stiles is actually short for Stilinski, his surname. Presumably because his first name is unpronounceable.

I assumed it was Allison/Lydia and I didn't know why a guy was in the picture. Damn portmanteaus.
