I love vaginas and I don't think anyone should be ashamed or embarrassed about their genitals but I don't really see how knitting from it is going to get people to "question the fears and the negative associations they have with the vulva". It seems more like something done for shock value (but then again, maybe I just don't understand performance artists)

Pretty sure it's just for the shock value. And it annoys me because it's exactly the kind of thing people will hold up to say "feminists are craaaazy"
