Re: Are most of your friends the same gender as you?

My main circle of friends is evenly split into 4 girls (incl me) and 4 guys. Which breaks down into 3 m/f couples (2 pairs are married), and me and the other guy. I was friends with the women in the group first as the four of us went to middle school together, and then the guys I met while in HS (2 were students there).

Beyond that close circle, my friends are probably 75% women and 25% men. It seems kind of like the women I know (from HS and college) make a greater effort to stay in touch now that we're scattered across the country.
