Re: How do you prefer your smut?

If I'm reading specifically for smut, I prefer it to be in character (no cheesy robotic sex talk) but I don't prefer a lot of lead up. The general premise has to make sense to me and provided it does, you know, get on with the spanking or whatever I'm reading it for.

I usually read NC-17 longfics but I almost invariably skim or skip the sex scenes in them. Those are all for the romantic build up.
