I'm laughing at myself right now because I know it shows my age so much, but I just can't with "Spirk". It's K/S damnit. LOL. I don't mind most fandom "smush" names, but I'll never be able to adopt "Spirk".

It does sound really stupid. But it's so much easier to use with google. Searching K/S doesn't really bring up any relevant results unfortunately, although I also prefer it as the ship's designation.

As a younger, came-from-Reboot-fandom fan, I love the "tumblr age" Trek ship names, lol. (chulu, mcspirk, uhotty...)

Haha yeah I know. :) I can do the ship names for most fandoms, but not Trek for some reason. SG-1 is another one I can't with. SGA sure. But not SG-1. Like I said, showing my age - lol.

Yes, this! I'm in my 50s. It'll never been anything but K/S or Kirk/Spock. If you want to 'Spirk', stay with the reboot, please!

Why are we not going with Kock, anyways? Somebody on my flist used to have an icon of Spock and Kirk that said, "My fandom has Kock," which I thought was fantastic.

Or McKock.

So many Kocks to be had.
