(Anonymous) 2014-08-06 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)I can ignore it if it's just a mention or a character making a pop culture reference when it fits, but fics where any plot vanishes to focus a few thousand of words on the characters watching/discussing tv series/movies making me backbutton asap even if I had liked the fic before that.

On the other hand, I can't stand at all The Avengers spending hours watching/discussing Star Trek/Doctor Who/Supernatural/insert something else here.
(And Bucky the Disney fan is even worse).
