Mood whiplash. In a scene the tone is serious and grim/sad, then someone is doing something 'hilarious'.
Anything close to the scenario of a recent fic I backed out of. It had a character have a miscarriage early in the fic and when they revealed it to a new lover about ten chapter later that person got jealous that someone "got there first" and hoped the baby was a product of rape because the idea of the person they liked having consensual sex with a lover made them super jealous.
