I love everything about Sims 3 but I do feel that Sims 2 had better stories? The premade characters feel more fleshed out than the ones in Sims 3. For instance, I could go for hours reading all the in-universe theories behind Bella Goth's disappearance. None of the characters in 3 really hold that kind of fascination for me.

So basically, I prefer 3's game play but wish it came with more of a sort of story line to it. With 3 I'd much rather make and play my own Sims than play around with any of the premade families like I would do with 2.
