to clarify
With Danny Phantom, they could have easily discussed Desiree and her background (like actually discussed not just a lazy screencap and "omg can we talk about this?") without distorting things to make it look like she's the victim when being stopped from killing and hurting people.
If you also want to talk about issues in Danny Phantom you could talk about Vlad and his selfish attitude when it comes to "finding love" (like discarding a little girl who loved him because she wasn't the 'perfect half ghost son' he wanted) and his treatment toward Maddie like she owes him something because he had a tragic lab accident. His disregard of her wants and needs that is constant.
If you want to talk about race issues in Lilo and Stitch you could talk about the deleted scene that ACTUALLY dealt with that issue. (the one where Lilo gets tired of the way tourists treat her and pulls a prank to clear them off the beach. Yeah there's THAT.
I didn't want to seem like I was against people discussing real issues in their shows and stuff. Just...the way some people will misinterpret something and twist it to turn it into one of their issues. (Like the person on a Harry Potter post trying to claim that people hate Umbridge worse than Voldemort because she's a woman and not because she's a more personal type of villain that people actually have EXPERIENCE with)
