It's not about Rose being a special snowflake queen, it's about RTD respecting the women in his series more than Moffat does. Rose is just used as an example in this particular post. I've seen similar posts plenty of times with pictures featuring Donna and Martha as well.

Yeah, but Rose seems to get bashed by certain segments of fans more than most NuWho companions. And this was even before Moffat took over the show.

Yeah that's certainly 100% true. Martha gets a fair amount too. Donna is the only one that seems to get off pretty scott free of the main companions.
