I don't understand what you are saying. You hate people who like anime?

I may be wrong, but I think they're trying to say that people who like anime a lot have no idea how to think logically and deeply, and are a bunch of pedophiles and weeaboos.... You know, the usual complaint.

When did this become "the usual complaint"? I've been seeing a lot of this anti-anime nonsense lately, and I don't get it.

This complaint has been around, in RL and online, for years. It's a sort of remnant of the "cartoons are for kids" crowd, and the fact anime was, for a long time, not something mainstream and reserved for geeks and nerds, often ones with no social skills, and who frequently watched hentai. Of course, naturally, this was not, and is not, the only group, but people like to pigeon hole groups and people. It's frustrating.
