If you're reading this, you're probably feeling pretty attacked right now, and I'll grant you that some of these comments aren't particularly charitable. Please just take a moment to realize where some of these people are coming from, though. Anxiety disorders are hard enough to deal with on their own, but the people suffering from them also have to deal with the stigma and stereotyping from people who don't understand what they are.

Maybe it wasn't your intention, but your secret reads like you're adding to that by claiming that there's only one way of having anxiety disorders and that everyone who doesn't is faking. I hope you take this as an opportunity to learn about the wide spectrum of anxiety disorders, especially because they're more common than you'd expect and somebody you love might have one.
