To be perfectly honest?

I thought Elsa's entire costume change in Frozen looked hideous. Her hair and her dress were both ridiculously ugly, so I'm not surprised it's ugly in the show.

But apparently I'm alone in this, since everyone thought her sexy-sheer-getup was nice. No thanks.

While I never went as far as thinking her blue dress is ugly, the best she ever looked in the movie was mid-transformation, when she'd undone her hair but had not yet changed her dress. The high black neck on the coronation gown looks better IMO than the weirdness of the blue dress, with it's double neckline.
