Yeah, pretty much this. You want real '70s clothes, you should look at movies that were actually made in the '70s. Some of that stuff was...uh...eye-popping to say the least.

That is true, but I always thought I was simply blinded by fondness :D

Also, the characters on Sanford and Son had even better '70s clothes IMO. ;)
