Same here. I don't mind doing non-fannish things (I actually kinda miss going on the trips to NYC every Spring break with my old college group to do volunteer work, but I'm too old and other factors), but fandom and fandom-related things are where I have the most fun. I'm just lucky I've found other people who are interested in about the same things I am, so I can talk about the stuff with them. (Granted, not everyone is as lucky, for lack of a better term)

But hey, everyone has different life experiences.
