Wolf children Ame and Yuki

Vorkosigan Saga has several good examples of relationships between mothers and their children, though I suppose the main ones would be Cordelia with Miles and Mark (and arguably Gregor) and Alys and Ivan.

Defiance arguably has Stahma and Alak, as well as Stahma and her daughter-in-law Christie.
