DELICIOUS WORD PIE.

Elena is blonde and a bit of a doofus at first, how is she a yamato at all!? She is so badass by the end of the game and in the beginning she's still brave and running off on her own and... eaoigjoea WHAT THE FUCK man, Elena is one of the best blonde female lead characters ever. :|

yeah, it's one of the extremely few games I haven't felt the need to turn voices off on (which is good, cause I don't think you even can XD). But the plot is very Japanese.

And well... it's a JRPG. I don't know what else would be expected. It's more out-of-the-box than some of them?

I dunno, something about the whole "darkness in people's hearts" thing is very typically Japanese. XD It's neither good nor bad, just... very much about friendship and trust and people being people. Plus the pastiche on the Christian Church.

Yeah... I watched someone else play the third one and was like... bleh.

The first one is good, if you can hunt it down. Much the same idea, but much less possession and much more random towns turning to stone. Also, Leen. Also, Milda the female body-builder whose default equipment is the chain-mail bikini and who goes out to adventure and leaves her husband at home, AKA the anti-Nadeshiko.

The graphics are... awful. They go from being a bit dated to holy shit is this a Playstation game!?

But, well, it's not as if the graphics are the main draw.

Yeah, I heard the changes in graphics compared to dropping from good Dreamcast graphics to FF7.

I think there are a few more problems but it's mostly aesthetic.
