From the site you have in the background of your secret:
Just about every Staff Chick in every RPG ever has this kind of personality at least in part; the Final Fantasy series has plenty of good examples, though Aerith of FFVII is arguably a subversion (she's not exactly docile and submissive, but she's otherwise more traditionally feminine than the other girls and DOES occupy the 'comforting, mothering figure' aspect - and comments on it in Advent Children). The best examples from the series would probably be devoted love interest Rosa from FFIV, Garnet/Dagger (when she's being a demure little princess and not a rebellious one) from FFIX and especially Yuna ...in FFX, though definitely not in X-2.
So. Aerith can be considered a subversion, Garnet and Yuna don't fit the mold all the time, and Rinoa isn't even mentioned. Way to go with your picture selections.

And it's STILL inaccurate as shit. Oh yes, Yuna just sat around and did everything she was told through the entire game. Her rebellion against the hard-laid laws and customs of the establishment WASN'T the whole point of the game =\

THANK YOU. I was keeping myself from going into the characters too much lest I write a novel about the various reasons Rinoa shouldn't be up there, but yes. Yuna gets a bad rap, and Garnet probably would too if anyone cared about IX. And god forbid a girl actually be demure or feminine. Because being feminine is, y'know, misogynist, rather than just being a reasonable personality trait. Sigh.

ERGH this is getting frustrating. How many times to I have to say this?

ALL THE CHARACTERS TO NOT FIT THE NADESHIKO TYPE TO A T. They are similar characters that all conform to an RPG CLICHE that is ROOTED in the type.

And if anyone says that these characters aren't similar in any way beyond being healer love-interests I'm going to be really, really annoyed.

You want to know an argument that I'm sick of hearing? 'Healer Girl X is shows that a woman can be traditionally feminine and still kick butt too!' Yes, there is nothing wrong with being traditionally feminine, and a traditionally feminine woman can be strong too. But you know what? I'M SICK OF IT. These women become boring after the 46579863th time.

I don't have anything against any of these characters INDIVIDUALLY. I'm saying they're a type, and a type that I'm really sick of seeing.

This you could have (and probably should have) included in your secret. Ambiguity isn't the best route to take when writing these up.

Yeah, you're probably right on that one. I've replied to about twenty people so far telling me that I'm what's wrong with fandom. Oh, yay.

...But they're not even rooted in the Nadeshiko. They're actually pretty firmly over in the Perky Schoolgirl category, most of them. Naive, innocent, stubborn little critters who never feel down (or at least hide it behind unrelenting perkiness) and always try their hardest. All they're actually missing is the uniform.

*cough* The issue is that you described them as Nadeshiko, and the major defining point of Nadeshiko -is- their passiveness. None of the characters you used are passive. Of cours people are going to disagree with you.
