Seriously? I've been dogpiled so hard on this I can't believe that someone agrees with me.

I'm wary of doing OCs because they tend to get labeled as Sues. I tend to try take existing female characters and add more depth - I'm writing a Kingdom Hearts fic right now, and though Kairi and Namine bore me to tears, I put a lot of work into trying to make them interesting instead of eliminating/bashing/whatevering them.

I don't know if you've played them, but Star Ocean 3 and Suikoden V are home to some awesomely subtexy femmeslash couples - Nel/Clair and Lucretia/Lelei, respectively. I also love me some FFX-2 femmeslash. Where's the Paine/Rikku love?!

I'm not actually stalking you through the comments. I'm just reading the pages that sprang up while I was in Photoshop and I keep seeing things I want to reply to.

Also good on you for trying to bring out the interest in characters that bore you instead of just tossing them aside. I wish more people would do that. Many's the character I've come to love through it.

I understand what you were trying to say, but it probably wasn't the best way to say it, especially with so many fangirls here.

Who cares if you write Sues? Your writing is supposed to be for you, right? Besides, most fanfic writers around these parts are writing themselves into their favorite character or his/her love interest anyway.

I don't actually game at all, so I'm unfamiliar with those games and characters. I usually just stumble upon favorite pairings, haha.

Yeeeah, just a little bit. Or a lot. -.-;;; I'm rather terrified and rather amused at the amount of wank I started.

I guess... I'm trying to write some original stuff, and I like to save my OCs for that. Fic is for exploring existing characters, in my book.

Aw, well, it's probably better that you don't game. Brilliant waste of time, it is. :P
