Whoa, is that really the article people keep mentioning? From the way I've heard it talked about I was expecting something a lot more... I dunno, along the lines of "JAPAN UBER ALLES AND ALL NON-JAPANESE ARE SCUM." But that interview isn't anything like that -- it's highly patriotic, yes, but hardly racist.

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. There is one line in there where he's like, "Non-Japanese music is just sound but Japanese music is like breathing" - or something - that was a bit sketchy to me, but the rest?

I think it's been blown out of proportion.
