I wouldn't say it's my favorite porn, but it's probably the main way I enjoy het. Especially if it's really loud, raunchy great!sex between people who are with/friends with the betrayed and wake up the next morning full of regret. But still wanting each other.

I kind of have a kink for the inverse of this: when a character gets jealous or possessive about their partner showing interest in a third party, or about a third party showing interest in their partner, or catching their partner cheating on them. I like fics where my OTP is the two people in the already-established relationship, and they are the focus.

I usually have little to no interest in the relationship between the cheater and the homewrecker except as an auxiliary to the the established relationship.

I understand that fiction doesn't equate to real life. Also, this is going to be a combo breaker, so...

I avoid fics where one half of my otp cheats on the other because it's completely ooc. Why would they betray their significant other like that? Breaking someone's trust, being unfaithful, and stirring unnecessary drama is terrible.

Whenever I ship a pairing, their bond/love is so strong, there isn't an any inkling to even think about cheating in the first place.

Anyway, going back on topic, everyone has their preferences. I just prefer my ships to essentially have a healthy and happy relationship without anyone else attempting to ruin it.

I just hate fiction (original or fan) where people cheat on others in general (or lie, or break their trust in other major ways). I mean in some cases it's relevant to the plot, and it certainly isn't unrealistic, but it always makes me so uncomfortable.

Exactly, I agree! Even if there's context it's still upsetting for me to read. Hence I avoid it.
