(Anonymous) 2014-08-12 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)Non-cis/non-binary head canons are usually just preachy and fics using those headcanons some times even ignore characterization to teach readers and other characters about what's like being non-cis/non-binary.
Sexuality headcanons are usually just there to justify a ship and although that can get annoying too, most people focus more on the ship so any annoyance gets turned to the ship and not to sexuality headcanons as a whole.

Hopefully, it's only because it's new in fanfics? Um ... I still yearn for good disabled protags without bloody teaching moments!
