I don't recall nearly as many deaths of 616 Jean, but still, she was last revived in the early 90s. The thing is, pretty much every character death doesn't stick forever - my issue is that they say she keeps coming back when she has the most long lasting death in the 2000s. And Bucky is a poor comparison, I think he's the character who was the dead the longest before being brought back. Many other characters had revolving doors since the 90s.

Jean has precedent, so to speak, though. While many characters did indeed come back after shorter periods of times, Jean came back very often, so that's what people are going to remember.
