For what it's worth, I think my therapist did help me, but mostly by providing information. I didn't agree with a lot of the things she said, and I eventually stopped going because of that, but she taught me a lot about working through my anger and how to communicate with other people. I'm glad I went, even though I lost a lot of respect for her in the end.
