Silent Hill 3 was the scariest out of the SH's imo. It had the most creative, grotesque, and expansive array of monsters and the entire game is just so extremely dark and horrific. At least there was a breath of air once in a while in SH2/SH1, but 3 is just overwhelmingly gross. You should give it a shot sometime :Db

I do own a copy of SH3 but I wanted to finish my playthrough of SH1 first, since SH3 is direct continuation.

I am pretty sure SH3 also has the best cast. Heather, Vincent, and Claudia all sound awesome.
