OMG WHERE'S THE CHAPTER 29 SCANALATION? As far as I know it's only been released up to 34--do you know if the chapters are put out in a magazine, or if it's only by volume? I poked around a bit but I'm not that familiar with manga, so I wasn't really sure. AND YES I am anticipating a lot of heartbreak. T_T There's already been so much, sob.

Yeah, I've got my fingers crossed that the anime will do it justice. And !!!! I was just thinking the other day that it reminded me a little of Hellsing! I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

Here's 29 for ya!. I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure it's not released on a weekly basis like say Naruto is, otherwise we'd get updates sooner. And I finally caught up, with the raws, too. Things are just sixteen different kinds of fucked up, man, I don't even know. I hope they turn the Destroyers into a fine paste on the ground. But I have to say I love how the story is humanizing all the side characters so thoroughly outside of their relation to the big three. They all get amazing stories and interactions all their own. This manga, Jesus.

God, I know. Delico. DELICO. It's crazy how I thought I didn't care that much about these side characters, but with all this tragic stuff happening to them, like with Doug and Galahad and now Delico.... it just seriously breaks my heart. AND YES I totally agree. Everyone has their own complex story and life going on, they aren't just there to make Nic look stronger or play off Worick and Alex or whatever. And it strikes a realistic balance between people's prejudice and their good sides (like Joel). Aughhhh I love it.

Fucking Delico, that whole scene just gutted me. And me, too, at first I was all "why am I supposed to care about all these people, tell me what Nic's up to" and now I'm just like "forget Nic, WHAT ABOUT CONNIE?!" The author really knows how to make everyone important, and everyone flawed, and everyone awesome, even villains (because villains have backstories, too). The mangaka's bought my loyalty, it's a shame they haven't done very much work.
