Certain types of numbers could have different magical properties. Maybe odd numbers are protective where even numbers tend to be destructive. Prime numbers have certain properties that make them unique while numbers with lots of factors are very complicated because the properties of all their factors influence them.

There are a lot of concepts in mathematics that could be explored in a magical system.

Ohh that's a good points.

I'll think about what I want to do with even and odd numbers, because that's an interesting idea. I'm working with advice from a friend on how to make it makes sense and be original atm.
