NOMINATE IT FOR YULETIDE is fast becoming my solution to everything, but in this case I think it's appropriate.

Seriously, though, commercials are great for Yuletide; they provide bite-sized canons for people who are afraid of biting off more than they can chew, and they've inspired some really fun/great fic.

You're not alone! I have similar feelings. I want her to be awesome and yet I want her to shut up and go away too. I think she's way too one-note in the 2nd season so I hope she is more developed in the 3rd.

I kind of agree with this. One time I saw someone bending over backward to give a character het ships, and the characters they were shipping him with included a girl he never interacts with in canon, a human version of his weapon, and a female version of himself. At this point, it's like, dude, just slash him already.
