*puts up hand* I prefer mostly gen these days, but that's partly because I burnt myself out by reading massive amounts of slash. I enjoyed it like crazy, but it left me feeling sated... and suddenly craving stories about human relationships that aren't necessarily romantic or sexual.

(And of course, plot. Not that slashfics can't be plotty, but a lot of them aren't especially strong on that, TBH.)

Anyway my preference for gen has nothing to do with being asexual (I'm not) or anything like that. I really resent it when people make judgements about my sexuality/sensuality based on the fact I currently like to read, and write, gen rather than pairingfic.
