LOL

Personally, I like how A:TLA ended. Aang spends the whole movie holding onto his beliefs and the teachings of the monks. If he had killed Ozai in the end, it would have been too OOC for me. I like that he found a resolution that kept people safe AND allowed him to preserve his morals. I really appreciated that ending.

I liked it too. However (and this is a big however) I feel they should have foreshadowed some things a lot more. (Like the Lionturtle.) They had the time to do it and had foreshadowed other things well so there's really not much of an excuse for how they slapped it together.

Really? I kinda liked how they did it, with the characters poking fun at the fact that there's always an epic spirit quest before a big battle. It was kinda hilariously meta in execution so I guess I didn't mind.

Yeah, I'm big into building things up. If stuff isn't it really falls flat for me, regardless of meta. But that's just me. I'm glad that other people like it for what it is.

I can see that. I love a good angsty buildup in certain types of shows. I guess A:TLA was light enough for me not to mind when they go for comedy over tension.

But I wasn't talking about angst at all. I was talking about build up and foreshadowing. That has nothing to do with angst.
