Re: Worldbuilding?
I once had a female-dominated society with a very complex and rigid caste system worked out, I even had part of the language and art figured out.
Then I had this post-apocalyptic world where they're basically still hung up on/romanticize Hollywood and try to recreate it.
Then there was one where teenagers are basically integrated into a spaceship operating system (and not all of them are too happy about it).
I guess i have tons, but they're more vivid in my head than on paper.

And yeah, my worlds are always more vivid in my head than on paper.
Re: Worldbuilding?
But it wasn't very much like English, it was more like say, something like Spanish where some words are feminine and others are masculine (also some are neutral) - less complex than, say, Latin because it didn't have all the tenses. Also some words were based on association, in the sense that culturally similar concepts would have similar roots - like the root for the planet's name, mother, queen, princess were all the same. You could also use root words and change the ending to make them diminutive or endearing (or alternatively, respectful or revering)
.
There was also a pictogram/visual aspect to it, where a person caste, for example, was symbolized by a specific black-and-white symbol.
The caste was also incorporated into the name, and while caste-mixing would have been discouraged n this society, IF it happened, you'd take your mother's caste. However the point is that in the point in history I was thinking about old rules are being challenged, because they discovered they're not the only people in the universe.
Eh, am I boring you yet?
