I thought Homestuck was entirely about Karkat, and Karkat being a grumbly asshole, like one of the Penny Arcade guys with a paint job.

He was the one I saw the most when people posted about Homestuck and he seemed to always be angry and cussing in stuff I saw him in, so I figured he was the main character and that was all that happened in the comic.
