It's a bit hard to understand, but OP is asking for more non-modern AUs, as in less modern AUs.

Not in the fandom but I get the frustration with the growing popularity of cutesy "normal life" AUs (or AUs in general). It's like it's a trend to not think about the source material as a full universe that can be explored, and just take the characters to play house instead.

I feel kind of bad that the OP's probably reading all these responses that have nothing to do with what (s)he said because everyone misread it. (Including me.) I think some things are better worded more concisely, or in General Comments where you can elaborate a bit easier.
