I'm debating whether or not I want to put down for the monthly installments for the Rocket and Groot set through Sideshow Collectibles.

It's about $350-odd, but they give you the option of paying for it in monthly installments after making a down payment. I like that's it's split up into 6 months, but part of me is really hesitant to spend that much money (even if it's in increments over time).

Mind you, I also have anxiety attacks when buying groceries and cheap t-shirts (I wish I was kidding), so... there you go. =T

That is a lot of money for a statue, but it's a damn spectacular statue. Sideshow always have beautiful works; the detail is incredible.

(Now I want it, but I can't. God, if only.)

I keep telling myself it'd be great for art references, but hhhhhh. I think I might cave in and put down the down payment for it anyways. Rocket and Groot are one of my major fannish weaknesses.

And if by some twist of fate, Hot Toys/Sideshow makes a Yondu, then I'll really be screwed!

Ohoho, I don't know if I should wish that sideshow makes a Yondu or not! That would be hell on your bank account, but at least you would be happy.

Rocket and Groot are so worth it, I think. If I hadn't spent too much money on clothes in the last couple months I would be tempted, but I just can't. Still, that would be a gorgeous thing to look at every day! (Marvel, stoppppp.)

It's a fucking beautiful statue, I love all of the Hot Toy's models, it is expensive but it's so lovely. The Gamora one is also amazing.

(I've got the Cap and Winter Soldier ones on pre-oder but damn Gamora is tempting).

Ooo, I just looked at the Gamora and holy shit that's beautiful. Ugh, I shouldn't be this attracted to a model. If I were going to buy one (and I'm not) it would be the Rocket/Groot because...well, Rocket & Groot, but the Gamora one is fabulous.

And I haven't even seen the Steve or Bucky ones and I can't even bring myself to go to the site because I'll just look at them longingly and want them and then be sad that I can't get them. (But I'm certain they are awesome because hot toys are always awesome, and I'm sure you're going to love them!)

Same. One of my friends reblogged a picture of Gamora, and my jaw dropped at how awesome it looks. Simply gorgeous!

tbh, if I was filthy rich and/or won the lottery, I'd splurge and buy the whole team (because I love them all so), but I think Rocket and Groot will probably be the only HT thing I buy in my lifetime, haha.

I saw it on twitter the other day and my jaw dropped, she is stunning and I'm just all a flutter over her model. Like damn Hot Toys. Damn.

Much like with Thor and Loki as soon as I saw that they were up for pre-order I was like 'Nope, gotta have 'em, I will kick myself if I don't', they are expensive but I consider them worth it. They're the only big things I tend to buy anyway. :P

(I am not going to pose them in ridiculous/inappropriate ways, at all >.>)
