In that case, I am very sorry that a kink you like is not that popular, OP. *hugs*
That said, I am curious as to what fandom you hang out in. Outside of a VERY tiny number of fandoms that I can count on one hand (actually, the only ones I can think of are Supernatural and Thor), most people have the "incest = abuse" mentality, so they see infidelity as marginally better because at least it's not outright abuse.
