It is among the radfems.

DA

Is it, though? My experience with self-identifying radfems (mostly Dalyites and Dworkinists at my college) was that the conversation didn't really run to doors and related etiquette very much at all.

The only time I can remember hearing radfems complain about door opening is in the context of jokes about what people think feminists do all day. But this was in the early-to-mid nineties, so it's possible the door thing has become a kind of reanimated strawman, taking on a life of its own. I'd be curious to see where you've encountered it lately.

Not really. A dude holds the door open for any person behind them as they're passing through, radfems have no problem. A dude goes out of his way to gallantly swing a door open and wait for a random woman who isn't carrying bags or pushing a cart or anything else to justify a special effort (that should also apply to dudes who are burdened), radfems have a problem.

nah actually I wouldn't be surprised if radfems had a problem with the first situation because they're just looking for excuses to hate on the dudes.

for the second situation ordinary feminists would be bothered by that. it's silly.
