That was an interesting read, thanks! I was in fandom in general when this went down, but only peripherally aware of the shitstorm happening over in HP.

Yeah, I didn't even get into HP fandom until fall 2002, so while I think I read the Draco trilogy at some point (or at least part of it), the drama was mostly done with by the time I was around. It's still an interesting story to read, though, and puts Cassie Clare firmly on my list of "authors whose work I will not buy, period."

You've probably figured this out by now if you read the link that was provided, but she definitely knew. She was part of Cassandra Clare's clique in the HP fandom and was one of the people who defended her.
