I'm just so fucking frustrated with job hunting. So I'm applying for this job, it's even temporary, and they're basically have been like "can you do this aptitude test", "can you do this linguistics test", "can you translate your CV" etc etc - for two days now. They promised me an answer by this morning - day's done and they still don't know. Oh, and the kicker - I'd be supposed to start on Monday if I'd get ir - at a place where I'd need to FLY to.

As much as I need a job, it's getting absurd by now.

That is really absurd! I think so many companies that are hiring feel like they can ask for a ridiculous amount of work to go into job applications, because they are likely to get a huge number of applicants who are desperate for work. I currently work part time and have been looking for a second PT job, and I am seeing startlingly stringent required qualifications for jobs that are 15-20 hrs a week.
