It's been a month, almost to the day, that my ex broke up with me. The thing that upsets me the most is that things seemed to be going well, but he had a change of heart and now I'm here realizing I was the most invested while he just... wasn't.

And it is not like I'd want to get back with him (I realize it probably wasn't going to work out in the long run, I just wish it hadn't ended so abruptly), but I still care about him. The fact he didn't even wish me a happy birthday hurt, you know? It's not like we had a fight or anything, and he knew it was a few days ago. Did he care that little? man, I don't know. I feel like maybe I'm being over dramatic, but stuff like that is important to me, so it makes me upset...
