I think reasonable, mature people* already know that attraction is complex, OP. People often disagree about standards of beauty, and even the definition of conventional beauty is highly flexible over time. You like what you like-- be at peace with that, and content yourself with the knowledge that doesn't come to most people until later in life (if at all) that finding someone attractive has a LOT more to do with total package than just how they look.


* and there's no reason whatsoever to listen to the nonsense that unreasonable, immature people espouse.
