Not if it's for dumb reasons or simply failing to communicate. That's just annoying. If there's a good reason for them to fight, it's fine, though I don't get particularly excited about it.

Communication failures, be it in romantic couples or friendships, fucking annoy me to no end. I don't mind legitimate arguments or whatever, but misconceptions and so on? ugh.

I think if a writer is talented enough a communication failure could be a good plot point, but it would take a good writer and a good plot to make it work well.
