I actually feel it's much more balanced than other books. Reread the Watch books and count up how many times Angua is mentioned as being attractive versus how many times Carrot is mentioned as being attractive. I swear, not one book goes by without a comment on his glistening muscles. (Not to mention two of the books' climaxes involve Vimes running around buck ass naked.)

I love Vimes, but him running around naked is hardly for titillation. He's a skinny old wrinkled man.
Carrot is never mentioned as being attractive. He is mentioned as being powerful and strong and typical male power fantasy-ish.

What books were you reading? Carrot is constantly being described as attractive, by both male and female characters.

I just reread the Watch books a few weeks ago actually, and Carrot is always big, strong, and charismatic. Angua on the other hand has boobies.

Angua is clever, fierce, resourceful, sarcastic, calm under pressure, and a good copper, though occasionally reckless and prone to anger. She has her own arcs in the books with dwarfs (especially Cheery, who went from hating all werewolves to being her good friend), golems, vampires, family, and loyalty.

But no, she's just about the tits n' ass. Nothing more to see here. You might want to work on your reading comprehension.
