Re: Do you like it when fictional friends fight?

I think fights between friends or lovers can make a story interesting and show that the friendship/relationship is not overly perfect. A fight can even lead to a plot where the issues it raises are a long-standing issue that causes further problems that need to be resolved.

The big thing is that it takes a good writer to handle them well. I'm not trying to discourage anyone from writing fights, in fact I encourage it, because it never hurts for a writer to learn how to write these things.
