God I remember the crap we had to deal with when he was cast as "Khan" in Star Trek Into Darkness. Nothing against the man, but I was REALLY not happy with his selection for that particular role. John Harrison? Fine. Khan? No. He did well (at least…as well as he possibly could given the absolute shit script) but I just didn't want him there…

Christ could some of his fans get defensive though. It was a mess. I pray to God that he's not going to pop up again. Once was enough.

Khan was a horrible idea, I don't know what J. J. Abrams was thinking. Well, I guess I do, since he wanted to 'remix' the past movies, but it was so unnecessary. John Harrison would've worked just as well as an original villain, and that was the role that actually had me sitting up and going, "Wow, he's really good."

I understand not wanting him there. He's been really busy so maybe he'll take a breather for a while and focus on Sherlock.
