I feel kind of weird asking this but…

Isn't the point of smutty fan fiction to find it hot?

If you find your own fics and your beta's to be hot…well…isn't that mission accomplished then?

I blame my brain. Swear to god I read it as "have" and then I looked at the secret and I said, "Oh, GDI, I passed grade two. I REALLY DID."

I don't find my own smut fic hot but I've given a couple of girl/girl and girl/boy fics to a couple of RL friends.......one told me she read it in order to 'get ready' for her husband when they were trying to get pregnant, and the other straight up told me she jilled off to it a few times, and that I "must have been lesbian in my past life".

I took them both as giving me really, really positive feedback but I also will not be sharing my smut fic with RL friends any time in the near or distant future. :/

I find other people's smut fic hot if I like the particulars involved and the language used.

First off, this is me. I can churn out smutty fic like it's nobody's business, but when it comes to actual plot, I can't write for shit.

Secondly, I wouldn't tell your beta that, it's probably best to keep it to yourself. I don't find all of my smutty fic hot, but it depends what I'm writing and if it hits a particular kink for me.
